Pottery Classes
I am offering a wide variety of classes. I would love to hear your thoughts too. Let me know if you have a great idea for a class.
The classes are open to children 6 and over as well as adults. Wouldn’t it be fun to take a class with your child? If you have a group of 4-6 students, you may contact me to create your own class.
Class details:
- 1 hour long
- limited to 6 students
- 8 classes per session
The cost for this session is $96 and is payable at the first class.
Class times:
I don’t have set class times. I work with you to find a time that will work. Classes can be from once a week to everyday.
Class Topics:
- Beginning dinnerware from slabs (make a set of dishes)
- Intermediate andadvanced handbuilding (piece together large bowls and vases)
- Beginning wheelthrowing (start using the wheel to make small bowls)
- Intermediate and advancedwheel throwing (continue to improve wheel skills)
- Garden Sculpture (everythingmade in class can be kept outside)
- Decorative tiles (create a distinctivedesign and produce a set of tiles)
- Ceramic lights (cut out designs to createlight shade and tea lights)
- Casting (create original sculptures and castthem in soap or wax)
- Independent study (work on your own project duringclass time)

Adult classes
I don’t currently offer any adult or evening classes, but you may take classes with your children.You can contact me if you would like to set up private lessons.
